Konbini ningen (コンビニ人間 ) or Convenience Store Woman which its title in English, is a Japanese novel written Sayaka Murata. It was first published in 2016 and this year it won the Akutagawa prize, the most important award in Japanese literature. It is the story of Keiko Furukura, a woman who works in a Konbini store, a shop in Japan that sells food, drinks and all type of products.
